I have been interested in music for as as long as I can remember. When it comes to singing, I would consider myself a very good bathroom singer but listening to music has always been a hobby for me. It gives me pleasure and it takes me into a world where Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes and Miley Cyrus rule!

When you are happy you enjoy the song, when you are sad you understand the lyrics. This is a quotation many of us have been reading over the years and it definitely is true when it comes to me. Listening to songs or just some sweet melodies is the best therapy to make you feel relaxed again and forget all about the happenings in life and just relating yourself to the lyrics and enjoying yourself thoroughly.

According to me, music is not a rhythm or a beat but it holds the story of a person’s life in a soothing or exciting way. It uplifts your spirits and helps you to stay connected to the world around.

While every country has it’s own language(s), there’s only one language that is universal: the language of music. We don’t even need words to understand what it means. Every year lot of different people from a lot of different countries attend festivals and concerts. When the music is being played, the language does not matter. It is the one thing that connects us all.

It helps a person to understand different emotions like happiness, anger, love or sorrow in a better way. Music keeps a person lively and joyous and develops understanding within a person. A song not only contains lyrics, it contains ones’ thoughts, ones’ perspective towards seeing the world from a different point of view.

When you listen to music, you tend to imagine yourself as the protagonist around whom the storyline of the song revolves and feel the same emotions simultaneously as if you are experiencing the same situation.

It’s the best time pass when you are alone or even when you have friends around. (what’s better than doing a karaoke together, right?) It can change your mood altogether and add a little fun to every situation. You start to love yourself and you take it as a hobby and it may become part of your daily routine.

It fills your life with joy and you start to cherish the precious moments of life. It can definitely become the go to stress buster of yours. You would like to listen to songs to calm yourself down and let the thoughts flow in your mind without the need to stop them or avoid them. Where words face, music speaks.

#Music keeps me alive :) :)
